Our Fall Wish List is chock full of popular products, but none of them (yet) have attained the cult favorite status of @pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner. We gave it a try, to see if it lived up to the hype. Toners are kind of an ‘optional’ skincare step; we love them for oily skin or for those with easily clogged pores. However, Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner has added ingredients that deliver benefit to your skin far beyond just removing excess oil and debris.

The main active ingredient is a low concentration of glycolic acid – this helps to unclog pores and exfoliate dead skin cells, without the downtime of stronger glycolic acid treatments. It also contains aloe vera (calming, of course) ang ginseng (recently gaining popularity for its antioxidant properties – it can help to brighten the skin.)

We’ve been using it for months now and love how the glycolic acid keeps our skin looking fresh. Even with the recent change of season here in Minneapolis, it hasn’t caused our skin to become dry. We are huge Pixi fans in general, but the Glow Tonic line is a standout in our minds.
